Social Media Guidelines

I have been on social media for the longest time. And I see more and more users that are not using it the way its suppose to be. I mean, using social media should be fun and to be acquainted to people or humans.

But the longer I use social media, I tend to dislike it more and more. But I can't unplug from it because this is how I share my ideas and business to the world. So I decided to make my personal guidelines whenever I use my social medias. 

  • LIKE Button. I don't use the LIKE button when there is a post about death, sickness, natural calamities and other catastrophes that had happened to the one who posted. That would be mean and inconsiderate.
  • Greetings. I don't greet HAPPY BIRTHDAY to people I really don't know personally. I just push the LIKE button. There's no reason for me to greet them since I don't know them. The only people that I don't know that I greet wishes to are celebrities and models I have crush on.
  • Read Before Commenting. Comprehension is a skill to understand the poster's point of view and thinking. Sometimes, not understanding the context would make you stupid online whenever your comment something.
  • Right Reaction. In every post, there is a particular reaction emoji to use appropriately. Use them accordingly.
  • Adding Friends. I don't easily befriend people I don't personally know. My first FB account was disabled, so I had the ability to choose who I will add as a friend. I mean if you're really not my friend, I won't add you.
  • I Don't Add People As My Friend. If you want me to be your friend, you should be the one to initiate it.
  • Replying To Messages. If you don't reply to my DMs, or at least check my messages, I think you should not be on social media. 

These are only my personal guidelines whenever I use these platforms. Feel free to use them for your own personal gains. Remember to use the platforms to be happy and not for hurting yourselves.
