Even in the simplest form of picking up fallen objects to helping an old person cross the street. That gives me goosebumps even if I was not thanked.
Helping others doesn't really require reciprocation or gratitude. It doesn't need acknowledgment either. Just pure genuine help.
So, make sure to help others. Even if its human or non human, help. Big or small, in whatever form, it makes a difference. A big difference.
And remember, don't expect a thank you from those you helped.
