"Generation Butthurt... Where everyone is offended by evertything... and if they're not, they try to be."

In the internet, there are so many users that feel that they are God. I mean they are all perfect and no one is greater than them. They feel like they are superior to anyone. They can write and spread hate towards an individual or race and cause an outrage.
I read some odd numbers of articles and posts against Filipinos and some has been shared to different social networks. The problem is, Filipinos get butthurt easily with these kinds of materials they tend to forget who they really are.
In this article, I will share how I deal with getting butt hurt before reacting to a hate post or hate article.
- Learn The Culture. Filipinos should be educated people. We should deal with these kinds of article in an educated manner. We need to show that we are not what they think we are. So just read the article and ask yourself if it is a feedback or just plain hate message.
- Ignore. If there is really nothing that the author is pointing, then ignore. The author might just have a bad experience with Filipinos so he/she generalizes them. We know in ourselves that we are also different with one another even if we are Filipinos.
- Report. I'm pretty much sure, there are moderators in every social network or blog sites that these articles or posts has been shared. Let them do their jobs and take these kinds of posts or articles removed from their sites.
- Accept. Sometimes, we need to accept that our fellow Filipinos are like what the article is about. And we need to hold our anger because its basically true. Its just unfortunate that we share the same race.
The next time you read an article or post that makes fun of our race, don't make a buzz out of it. Read, understand and act smart. Hold your emotions.
If you react and argue with the author, he/she might be laughing his/her ass out because only stupid people react without thinking.
Kapish!
